Tecnoval was founded in 1995 in the city of Lorena (in the state of São Paulo, in Brazil) as part of ValGroup. The company excels in the flexible monolayer and laminated packaging segment, serving a variety of uses. In 2005, Tecnoval decided to verticalize the production of BOPP, one of the most used raw materials in its process, with a plant in Itamonte, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. By following this path, Tecnoval developed itself based on a mindset focused on innovation and sustainability. These values have always marked the company's DNA and have been cultivated with solid investments over the years. Tecnoval was the first company in Latin America to invest in a total recovery system for solvents used in the process and to stop emitting such gases into the atmosphere and reusing them in production. Different technologies are used in the printing process, such as rotogravure and flexography in heptachromia. For the lamination process, we use solvent-based or solvent less adhesives. We continuously invest in state-of-the-art machinery, seeking greater productivity, reduction of waste and safety to employees. Many efforts were made to reach the level we are at today: a financially sound, operationally excellent company that offers complete solutions at competitive prices. Today more than ever, Tecnoval strives for continuous innovation guiding us towards a more sustainable plastic packaging industry. We are committed to doubling efforts and integrating them to the entire supply chain, from resin suppliers to customers, in order to continue innovating and transforming our industry into a circular, clean, recyclable and, low-cost one.
